Dreams of Gold

Dreams of Gold is a narrative adventure about gold, thoughts, and escaping the cycle. 

Features

• Just over 30k words.
• Storytelling via a mixture of traditional branching narrative and floating module based narrative.
• A familiar hero's journey, but is there more than meets the eye?
• Streamlined stats and skill checks using a simple D6 system.
• Even an endless cycle can be escaped, given sufficient enlightenment. This game, like all else, does have an end, if you can find it.

Dreams of Gold includes non-graphic textual descriptions of tobacco use, violence, and death. Additionally, there is occasional strong language. Moreover, some spooky skeletons are present.

Dreams of Gold was completed for a game jam. It may or may not be developed further.

System Requirements

• Windows 7+
• A 1080p screen (or other resolution capable of displaying a 950x950 window)
• A mouse
• Sound hardware if you want to hear sound
• Seriously, I developed this on a computer I built in 2010. You can probably run it.
